Hey all! Welcome to the new look of Losing, Living, Loving.

Over the years my weight has been a barrier to me really living life to its fullest. It has stopped me from trying new things, having fun with my kids and husband all because of being afraid. My lack of self confidence has stolen too many opportunities from me and prevented me from making memories with my family.
I have tried a variety of diets, weight loss plans, and exercise programs over the years...you name it I've probably tried it. I currently just wrapped up a 4 year stint with WW. When I tried it about 8 years ago I'd lost about 30lbs and was feeling great but once I plateaued I gave up on paying for the program. Within a year I'd gained all of the weight back plus some, bet you didn't see that one coming. In 2017 After a tough year of watching and supporting my dad through his cancer diagnosis and being there for his 6 month hospitalization re-joining my WW (formerly Weight Watchers) was my gift to myself. It was time to start focusing on me and stop making excuses. I joined WW and lost 50lbs within my first 6-8months. For the last 3 years however I have not made any progress with my weight loss. I know the program works and this is not a poor reflection on the program. I always knew what I had to do to be successful but I think after being on the program for so long I started feeling entitled and just didn't work for it. I needed a change. I recently started calorie counting and I feel like this really is an eye opener for me. I am hoping this is the jumpstart I need.
On the blog you'll find that most of my recipes are gluten free. My husband was diagnosed with Celiac disease just over a year ago so this has really changed the direction of my recipes. Now I will say that I am still new to the gluten free world so my recipes may not be perfect but I am trying.
The name of the blog is the story of my journey...I'm Losing weight and shedding the lack of confidence. I'm Living a healthier, happier life and Loving the person I am becoming. Learning to love myself more and more with each day, each success, and even each failure.
I am looking forward to sharing some great recipes, health and wellness information and tips and sharing things with you that we love.
