Without further ado here are the 3 books of choice.
Grownups - by Marian Keyes
If you are familiar with Marian Keyes you already understand why one of her books was chosen. If you have never read a Marian Keyes book please go directly to your vendor of choice and pick one, any one will do, you can thank me later. This books revolves around 3 Irish brothers, their wives, children and extended families. The delicate balance between humor and what can, at times, be difficult scenarios is what makes this such a true to life read. She takes the everyday and makes it entertaining while weaving a thoroughly enjoyable story, from different points of view no less.
The Unhoneymooners - by Christina Lauren
This was such an addictive read! This was my first book by the author, or should I say authors, since it is a duo, but I have already lined up the other titles to read sooner than later. The premise follows your traditional contemporary romantic comedy but it is done so well and with such a fresh feel that you just gobble it up. If you love LOVE and a good laugh this is a definite winner.Big Summer - by Jennifer Weiner
This was my audiobook for August and I was pleasantly surprised to be so drawn in by this story. I think because the novel revolves around a plus-sized woman blogger/influencer who is finding her place in the world, I felt a sort of kinship if you will. Along with Daphne, the protagonist, we navigatie the social media scene and have her back as she finds herself a central character in a murder investigation. This book ticked all the boxes, mystery, love story, and a struggle to find true identity. I thoroughly enjoyed every step I had to take in order to dive in to Daphne's world.
See why it was so hard to choose??
Happy reading!
